To enabled tip prompting on the Pax payment device, the following logic and file building is used.

EDC Tab – Tip option enabled, this has to be enabled to operate

Tip Tab – If Tip Select disabled, will only prompt for a tip amount to be entered by customer.  If enabled, will use the pre-determined options.  In this option, if the sales amount is above the threshold set in the file build, it will use % of sale.  If falls below threshold, it will prompt the amount pre-filled in the file build.  The threshold can be set to zero to force the percentages at all times.
